The
Alberta Heart Institute will be the first new heart institute
built in Canada since 1976. This center of excellence will
bring together world class cardiologists, cardiovascular
surgeons, and state-of-the-art procedures and treatments – the
total package aimed at helping heart patients live longer,
healthier lives.
The
Government of Alberta has led the way with a $125 Million
commitment, the largest amount ever made
for a cardiac enterprise. The AHI Campaign has set a goal
of raising an additional $25 Million through the private
sector, which will help the AHI acquire the best in technology
and the most talented health care professionals on the
planet. Help us make this project a reality and place Edmonton
firmly
in the center of world class heart research, patient care,
and education.
