Community Organizations That We Support
United Way Our employee led campaigns have raised well over $100,000 in the last 5 years alone, for the United Way of Alberta Capital Region, and the United Way of Calgary. Our employees have received numerous awards and citations for their efforts. The United Way invests in human service programs - programs that enhance the quality of life and encourage positive growth. This helps to produce healthy children, self-reliant individuals, strong families, and supportive communities. CIRAS Canadian Institute of Retail and Services University of Alberta We believe in the importance of education. We are one of the founding partners of CIRAS, the Canadian Institute of Retail and Services - an institute formed by the School of Business at the University of Alberta in 1991. CIRAS' vision is to be Canada's leading centre of retailing and services expertise through excellence in education and research. Children's Health Foundation We believe it is important that the children of our communities have access to proper health services. We are a founding fund raising partner and a significant capital campaign contributor to the Children's Health Foundation. Their mission is to raise money and advocate for the enhancement of health services for children by funding initiatives, which promote health, prevent disease, and treat illness. Francis Winspear Centre for Music We believe in the importance of music and the arts in our communities. We were significant capital campaign contributors to the Edmonton Concert Hall Foundation, which built the Francis Winspear Centre for Music.
