HENRY SINGER ANNOUNCES NEXT-GENERATION STORE OPENING FALL 2017 IN CALGARY’S EIGHTH AVENUE PLACE

Iconic Alberta-based retailer continues to evolve with experiential new store

CALGARY – June 26, 2017 – Henry Singer Fashion Group (Henry Singer), an iconic Alberta menswear retailer, is elevating the retail setting with its new flagship store set to open Fall 2017 in Eighth Avenue Place. Spanning 6,006 square feet, the highly-experiential store will embody the luxury and modernity that Henry Singer is known for and expand its consumer lifestyle offering.

Designed by award-winning architecture and interior design firm McKinley Burkart, the street-front concept will provide a renewed focus on the customer experience and set the precedent for future Henry Singer stores.

Working alongside one of Alberta’s most established retailers, McKinley Burkart sought to design a space that encompasses Henry Singer’s Alberta roots and multi-generational legacy. Injected with tradition and timelessness, the new design incorporates a simple, clean backdrop accented by luxurious details that allow the clothing to be the focal point.

New store features include luxury VIP change rooms, an exclusive made-to- measure suite and an open-concept tailor shop where intricate hand-finishing and pressing is done in-house by master tailors. Recognizing the ever-changing nature of the retail industry, Henry Singer saw an opportunity to move the needle by incorporating a stronger lifestyle offering into its concept. The new store will include an onsite barbershop and apothecary featuring a curated selection of men’s skin care products and fragrances.

Henry Singer Eighth Avenue Place will continue to redefine luxury menswear while delivering the unparalleled experience and service synonymous with the brand. With a commitment to crafted luxury, the new store will highlight brands that treat, produce and craft their items by hand, including Kiton, Jacob Cohen and Scarpe di Bianco.
